That's like asking about a favorite child!

When I have to answer I always go back to a few Katee Robert books (Desperate Measures and Wicked Control!) or the Losers Duet by Harley Laroux.

Hot chocolate- being a migraine girlie means no caffeine!

There's no situation in the world that not made better with Reece's peanut butter cups. The mini ones are chefs kiss.

Super fun fact- the first story I wrote was on some folded up pieces of paper my grandma gave me. It was awful and maybe ten pages long. In a fun cosmic twist- it was a romance!

Too many things! The list is ever growing and never ends! Usually romance books, but I've promised my husband and a coworker of mine that I'll read Dune eventually, and my husband will never stop trying to force Dungeon Crawler Carl on me!

Usually songs! I'll listen to something and get these super vivid images in my mind of a totally unrealted story. The end result is almost never where the idea started so its fun to watch it morph and change over time.

(Side Hustle started from listening to "Good For Her" by MOTHICA!)

EVERYTHING. The book playlists go from classical to rap to country to metal. My music tastes are all over the place!

NEW MONTHLY WRAP UP✨

First and foremost- I think this month it was important for me to see the “other progress” slide! To see the words put out is crazy (I think Mays been my biggest month so far?!), but SOOOOO much other stuff happened this month.

The most exciting progress? Working for days with @instalovegraphicdesign to essentially overhaul EVERYTHING. She did branding, covers (YES COVERS EXIST IM STILL SCREAMING), banners, bookmarks, stickers, social media posts— you name it! (Like come on my feed looks so much more put together now!!) She was a joy to work with. Obsessed forever with everything she makes. I cannot recommend her enough!

Also we have an author website now! It’s live on web and mobile! There’s some fun Q&A moments and maybe one cover reveals with another little teaser of another??? 😏🫣

ALSO I’ve officially created an LLC to act as my publishing house and I’m fucking THRILLED. There’s lots of discussions about when it makes sense for an author to officially create an LLC but some I’ve talked to said they wish they did it earlier and the process is super easy! I’d rather have it done and not need it yet than be frantic later trying to make one. And this way I secure the name. (Say hi to Bows and Echoes Publishing LLC!) 💖

I originally wanted this page to be a journal of my path to getting published and it very much is still that (just with more promotional stuff sneaking in).

But I did another big thing the other day! I’m officially the owner of my own LLC! There’s a lot of debate online about whether authors really need to create an LLC or when they need to create one- but it wasn’t a large expense and it makes me feel like I’m actually doing it as a serious thing and not just a hobby. Also some places said this makes it easier to get business banking done as opposed to running it all through a bank account of your own? Idk, but I want to take this journey so seriously and this is a huge part of that!
